Are You the Next Tiger Woods?

SATCA is hosting a student and faculty golf tournament at the Ray Richards Golf Course on Sunday, May 4th.  Tee times start at 1:30pm.  The 9-hole tournament will cost $10 plus $7 for club rentals.  Come show your your skill!

“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the SATCA president from December 2006- April 2008.  Within this time I have been able to witness many great things come from the students around me, not only those whom have stepped up into the many various leadership positions offered, but those who have unselfishly shared their time and talents with others for the betterment of the community and the SATCA organization as a whole.  The experiences I have received from being a member of this group are unforgettable and I want to thank each and every one of you for making this past year great one.  I have been able to come to realize that this group was much more than just a group of students coming together on a Wednesday night for a meeting, taking trips together, or enduring the long hours of work of the REA.  I am proud to say that I can call all of you my friends and truly hope that someday I will have the opportunity to work with each and every one of you controlling the airplanes that carry millions of people safely to their desired destinations. Thank-you again for the opportunity to be your president and I look forward to seeing great things from this group in the future.”

NATCA Meet and Greet

The National Air Traffic Controllers Association Great Lakes Vice President Brian Zilonis will be visiting with students at UND.  The NATCA Meet and Greet event will be held in Clifford Hall room 210 at 5:00pm.  Come listen and ask questions!

The Spring 2008 club trip to Chicago was a big success!  After a long drive from Grand Forks, the group was treated to some awesome facility tours and had lots of fun out on the town.

The Spring Trip is upon us!  Here's the official itinerary for the trip:

Thursday:

• ARRIVE Ryan Hall at 5:00pm
  
• Dinner in Minneapolis; drive through the night

• ARRIVE Holiday Inn Express O'Hare at 5:00am and drop off bags
  
• Breakfast at 5:30am
• ARRIVE Chicago Center at 8:00am
• ARRIVE O'Hare Tower at 10:30am
• ARRIVE Chicago Approach at 1:00pm
• Dinner at Gino's East Pizzeria

• Buy CTA Day Pass for $5.00
• ARRIVE Midway Tour at 12:00pm
• ARRIVE at Navy Pier around 2:00pm
• See Chicago!

• DEPART Hotel 9:00am
• ARRIVE Grand Forks 9:00pm
